BIOGRAPHY
Darell Fields teaches design and architectural theory in the Department of Architecture UC Berkeley. He is the author of the book Architecture in Black, which presents the first systematic analysis of the theoretical relationship between architecture and blackness. His theoretical and provocative works have been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Studio Museum in Harlem and the August Wilson Center for African American Culture in Pittsburgh.
