BIOGRAPHY
Matt Conway is a lecturer in architecture, registered architect, and computational design leader. He is co-founder of San Francisco based Studio Imai Conway and also co-founder of Los Angeles based HomeMakeLabs, a video game, interactive installation, and visualization studio. Conway has been published in Log, Thresholds, ACADIA, Harvard University Graduate School of Design's Platform, and UCLA AUD's POOL. He received a Master of Architecture (MArch I) from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and Bachelor of Science in Design Architecture from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Conway is a licensed architect in California and Texas. He has taught at University of California Los Angeles and University of Southern California. Conway has worked with DLR Group, Gehry Technologies, MAD, Behnisch Architekten, and NBBJ. His research work focuses on computational geometry, data representations, and programming literacy—building programs, and programming buildings.
