BIOGRAPHY

Dorothée Imbert is an academic, a scholar, and a designer. She has practiced as a landscape architect, published extensively on the subjects of landscape modernism, productive landscapes, and contemporary design. She has taught and held leadership positions at Harvard, Washington University in St. Louis, and The Ohio State University. Imbert has served on numerous boards and juries, including Dumbarton Oaks, the Society of Architectural Historians, the American Academy in Rome, and as the jury chair of the inaugural Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architectural Prize. She was recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects and as a Distinguished Alum at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design.
