David Lichtman
David Lichtman is an executive advisor to U.S. financial institutions, advising on lending strategies and credit risk. From 1985 to 2023, he held executive positions at First Republic Bank, San Francisco, including senior executive vice President and chief credit officer, where he was responsible for the bank’s $170 billion loan portfolio.
He has a longstanding interest in K–12 and higher education. He has served as a member of the board of directors at Leadership High School, San Francisco, and he is s a current board member of the Fort Mason Center and a mentor in the Big Brother/ Big Sisters of the Bay Area. He also served as a life skills mentor for at-risk students at Megan Furth Academy, San Francisco.
