Bio

Sepideh Farnia is an accomplished architect from Iran with a passion for sustainable design. She holds a master’s degree in architecture specializing in housing and has excelled academically, including publishing an article on social sustainability in residential complexes. Despite challenges in her patriarchal society, Sepideh has been persistent in pursuing excellence in her career, breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations of women.

 

In her ten years of professional experience, Sepideh has worked on various projects ranging from urban design and master planning to interior and exterior design. As a lead architect and project manager, she has effectively coordinated multidisciplinary teams through project completion.

 

Sepideh’s desire to deepen her understanding of real estate finance and sustainable development has led her to UC Berkeley Nancy and Douglas Abbey Master of Real Estate Development + Design (MRED+D) program. Her goal is to leverage her expertise to create inclusive and empowering spaces, contributing to real estate projects that prioritize social equity and environmental stewardship.

 

Sepideh’s journey reflects her indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to effect positive change in her community and beyond. As she embarks on this new chapter, she is poised to become a catalyst for innovation and leadership in the realm of real estate development, guided by her commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and social progress.
