While studying Architecture, Santiago also completed a minor program in Management at the School of Management at Universidad de los Andes to achieve a more comprehensive formation focused on real estate development. Alongside his internship experience at construction sites in residential complexes at Jaramillo Mora S.A. (Cali, Co), he gained valuable insights while working at Neos Group S.A. (Bogotá, Co), a high-end residential construction company. Seeking exposure to diverse projects and their specific demands, he served as a BIM resident in the construction of Colombia’s first Amazon Inc. building at Connecta 26, an iconic office complex. Currently, with more than five years of experience, including two years with a leading global company for commercial real estate services, he approaches real estate development challenges from the commercial side as a real estate broker. In this role, he advises clients on disposition and acquisition transactions, operation relocations, lease renegotiations, and more complex needs such as sale and leaseback transactions.
