Arcus Professor of Practice

The Arcus Foundation endowment to the College of Environmental Design is intended to enhance social justice in the built environment through teaching, design education, research, and public discussion. The aim is to improve the lived experience of marginalized communities and individuals and advance the understanding of how the environment influences, perpetuates, and changes social inequities. In addition to the Arcus Professor of Practice visiting appointment, the endowment funds symposia, seminars, conferences, and publications, visiting research fellows, awards for distinguished work, and other activities that advance the goals of the Arcus Foundation.
