Meet CED Alums

The Department of Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning announces the appointment of Kimberly Garza (BA Landscape Architecture 2006) and Erik Prince, principals of mission-driven landscape architecture, urban design, and public art studio Atlas Lab, as the fall 2026 Lifchez Professors of Practice in Social Justice.

The College of Environmental Design announces the appointment of Dorothée Imbert, FASLA, as professor and chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning. An expert in landscape modernism, she is a respected scholar, designer, and academic leader. Imbert received both her MLA and MArch degrees from Berkeley and in 2024 was honored with a CED Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Wallpaper* US400 list celebrates the people who are shaping the creative landscape in 2026. This year, the list includes eght CED alums who are advancing design culture.

The pair met at CED as undergraduate architecture students and went on to found Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, a globally recognized, award-winning practice.
