Natali Ovalles
San Francisco-based UI/Visual and Interaction Designer with a multidisciplinary background and over 6 years of design experience. Her work reflects her ability to lead complex projects and dynamically approach design challenges across a wide range of fields. As a design lecturer at UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design, Natali empowers others in their creative journey and showcases her students that the nature of design isn’t always linear. Throughout her career, she has been driven by a deep passion for design and problem-solving. As a Senior Designer at SurfaceDesign, Inc., and later at Hart Howerton, she took projects from conceptual design to 100% construction documentation, including but not limited to: Tasman East Park in Santa Clara (currently under construction), private residences, and 30-acre tech campuses in the San Francisco Bay Area. She believes in a holistic approach to design; whether crafting furniture or shaping digital experiences, the goal remains the same – to satisfy human needs, making things usable, digestible, and evoking emotional responses. Natali is committed to transcending disciplinary boundaries to transform ideas into positive impact.
