Bio

Drew Humphrey is coming into the MRED+D program with 15 years of construction management, property management, and real estate brokerage experience from the SF Bay region. He brings experience ranging from project conception and design, to zoning, permitting and all phases of construction in the Berkeley/Oakland area, including his own multi-unit property near Lake Merritt. He also has been using construction 3D modeling for a number of years and attended “bootcamp” training for SketchUp using 3D models to bring construction and real estate concepts to life and create models for clients and developers.

For the last several years his work has focused exclusively on the Sea Ranch area in Sonoma County, which has offered unique opportunities to further develop his designing, permitting, and building skills. Drew’s ultimate goal is to create sustainable, beautiful designs for multi-unit residential and multi-use properties in Sonoma County and beyond with an emphasis on coastal development.

Outside of the professional realm, Drew enjoys ocean kayaking, cooking, and fishing, and trains in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (and holds a black belt in Judo which he earned through competition).
