Studio Work
ED 253: MUD Final Studio
The thesis studio is the culmination of the MUD program. In their final (spring) semester, students conceptualize and realize Advanced Design Projects based on their own passions and concerns. They select their own sites, scale, issues, and approach, based on analysis and ideas developed during the previous semester’s Thesis Prep course. The instructor supervises their progress, guided by two advisors from the faculty or the profession, chosen by the student for their expertise and interest. The MUD program funds student travel to thesis sites.
