MUD International Design Workshop 2012

The 2012 International Workshop was held in Guangzhou, China. Eight Master of Urban Design and three Master of Landscape Architecture students from Berkeley worked with Professor Bosselmann and with students and faculty from the South China University of Technology (SCUT) on the historic town of Jiangmen. The aim of the workshop was to devise strategies by setting up an urban design framework that improves the livability of the historic center, while at the same time, preserves, enhances and celebrates the character and the culture of the place.
