Students selected a landscape feature or phenomena to reveal or highlight at Blake Garden. They then modified the surroundings through design moves.

Final Project: Linking the Parade Ground and Crissy Field

The future plans for the Doyle Drive reconstruction in San Francisco present a rare opportunity to improve the landscape relationships between The Presidio and Crissy Field. Students explored the possibility of making an uninterrupted connection between the historic Parade Ground and the edge of the bay by creating a visual, spatial, and functional link, primarily through the reshaping of the land.
