Fall 2018, Arch 100A – Community Center

ARCH 100A introduces students to the conceptual design of buildings. The studio progresses through a cohesive set of projects beginning with abstract exercises and culminating in the design of a small community center. Problems in the
course emphasize conceptual strategies of form and space, site relationships and social, technological and environmental determinants. Projects in this semester follow the theme of "Community Center."
