Fall 2016, ARCH 100C: Kuwait Studio

This design studio included a trip to Kuwait and was organized by the Center for Arab Societies and Environments Studies (CASES) and sponsored by KFAS.  It was coupled with several initiatives at Kuwait University (KU), including a teaching excellence program aimed to enhance faculty teaching methods, a research program to allow faculty from KU and the College of Environmental Design (CED) at Berkeley to collaborate on publishable research, and a professional growth program to allow architecture students from Kuwait and Berkeley to work together and exchange information across continents.
