WORK
Architecture 100C Fall 2013
The final projects of Architecture 100C sought to expand the civic potential of the San Francisco's Mission Creek's existing infrastructure while simultaneously exploring the partial restoration of its original wetlands. The City of San Francisco is considering removal of the freeway north of 16th Street and one of this studio’s objectives is to explore alternatives to demolition. Water level rise, capture, retention and diversion are all important design considerations in this project as well as a special emphasis placed on experimentation with permeable fabric concrete formwork.
