ARCH 201 Fall 2012
Located in Oakland’s Chinatown, the Asian American Cultural and Community Center will be a vibrant resource dedicated to sharing with present and future generations the evolving Asian American cultural heritage in the Bay Area, and a celebration of Asian culture in Oakland. Focusing backwards and forwards simultaneously, the center is a hybrid of a club and a consulate, a bridge to the community it serves whose mission is to present, perpetuate, transmit and promote Asian and Asian American cultures to diverse audiences.
