2012 Master of Architecture Thesis Projects

These projects represent the 2012 thesis work of students in the Master of Architecture program at UC Berkeley. The sites and scales of the work are global and diverse, the media various and complex, and the speculations broad and rich. Students address the intersections of architecture with spatial politics, material technologies, mathematical models and aesthetic phenomena. These connections between the core subject and larger cultural questions raise the challenge and offer promise for the future of the discipline.
