BIOGRAPHY
Shaoyi Wang is a PhD student in architecture whose research focuses on computational design and automated design pipelines, with the goal of exploring intelligent and scalable workflows for architecture, structures, and fabrication. She is also interested in developing design tools, interactive applications, and games as extensions of computational thinking in design. Before starting her PhD, Shaoyi completed her MS in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a BArch from Tsinghua University, with a minor in Psychology.
