Sara is the California Program Manager of the Center for Cities and Schools, where she leads the Center’s work on educator workforce housing and California policies on school facilities. Before coming to CC+S, Sara was a lead researcher at the UC Berkeley Labor Center and associate director of the UC Berkeley Institute for Research on Labor and Employment. She has an extensive background in academic and applied research on labor, workforce, and economic development policy, the education workforce, low-wage workers, technology and government, and public finance. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the Department of City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley.
