Bio

A Southern California native, Rob Gallegos joins the MRED+D program with a breadth of experience in real estate crowdfunding as well as single-family and multifamily finance. In his most recent role at Freddie Mac Multifamily, Rob participated in sizing, quoting, and structuring multifamily apartment loans for securitization within the Western Region of the United States.

Through gaining multifamily expertise at Freddie Mac, Rob was exposed to the lack of affordable housing facing communities today. With the help of the MRED+D program, Rob plans to shift his focus from lending to sustainable affordable housing development. His goal is to create workforce housing, specifically within minority communities to enact long-term sustainability and growth.

Outside of work, Rob is an avid runner, cyclist, and beach volleyball player. When he’s not staying active, he can be found searching Southern California for the best local beer or breakfast burrito.
