BIOGRAPHY

Íñigo Cobeta is a researcher and associate professor in the Department of Architectural Composition at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM), where he has taught since 2006. He has collaborated with specialized international publications such as ArquitecturaCOAM or RITA. He has also acted as an independent national curator (Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo 2006). For 20 years he worked as an architect, collaborating with MoneoBrockStudio on the Termas de Tiberio in the Panticosa Spa and developing his own practice. In 2019, the bicentennial of the Museo Nacional del Prado, he was invited to lecture on some of the conclusions of his thesis, The Prado, from Territory to Stage, directed by Rafael Moneo. He is currently part of the research project "Conexiones de la arquitectura española con las Américas (1976–2006)". Since 2020, he has focused on teaching, research, and developing experimental projects on public schools.
