Greg Morrow
Greg Morrow is Director of the Master of Real Estate Development + Design program. He was previously Sands Professor of Real Estate, MSRE Academic Director, and Real Estate Institute Executive Director at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and Parker Professor in Metropolitan Growth + Change in the School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape and Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Morrow was a member of the Calgary Planning Commission, LA County Measure H (Homeless Initiative) Citizens Oversight Advisory Board, and ULI LA Leadership Council. Morrow has practiced as an architect in Boston with Safdie Architects, was senior associate for a residential practice in Boston, and ran his own real estate development + design practice in Los Angeles. His research centers on the political economy of land use and its impact on housing, and teaches courses in real estate development, urban design, and city planning history + theory. Morrow has undergraduate and professional architecture degrees from McGill University, two Masters (city planning and architecture + urbanism) plus an urban design certificate from MIT, and a PhD in Urban Planning from UCLA.
