Aqdas Fatima is an urban researcher and visual practitioner interested in exploring the intersections of climate change, participatory planning, and justice-centered design. She holds a master’s in design and urban ecologies from Parsons School of Design and a bachelor’s in anthropology from the University of Kent. Her work traces the slower, often overlooked trajectories of climate change adaptation as they unfold in everyday life, using modes of inquiry such as counter/collective cartographies, ethnographic research, and community-led interventions. She is particularly interested in informal ecologies of care and repair and how these shape collective responses to environmental change. She previously worked as a research associate on the UKRI-funded project Cool Infrastructures.
