Terner Center develops first-ever national database of pro-housing policies
Mar 9, 2023
The College of Environmental Design’s (CED) Terner Center just published a database of state incentives for local housing production, the first of its kind. Sorting 144 pro-housing policies from 20 states by factors related to affordability and equity, the database is a roadmap for states pursuing housing reform.
As the race to implement effective housing policy becomes increasingly critical, the center’s researchers hope the database will serve as “a new resource to policymakers and advocates looking for approaches to emulate."
