Five alums elevated to ASLA Council of Fellows
We're proud to announce that five CED alums, all graduates of our Master of Landscape Architecture program, have been elected to the 2024 class of fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects:
Patricia Algara (MLA 2007), BASE Landscape Architecture, San Francisco
Michael D. Murphy (MLA 1968), Texas A&M University
Patsy Eubanks Owens (MLA 1987), University of California, Davis
Dale Schafer (MLA 1991), Wagner Hodgson Landscape Architecture, Hudson, NY
Judith Stilgenbauer (MLA 1998), University of Hawaii at Manoa, Manoa
ASLA, which celebrates its 125th anniversary this year, is the professional association for landscape architects in the United States. Election to the ASLA Council of Fellows is among the highest honors the organization bestows on members.
“The professionals recognized in this year's class of ASLA Fellows have made consistent and exceptional contributions to resilience and sustainability, stronger and more beautiful communities, and human health, safety, and welfare,” says ASLA President SuLin Kotowicz, FASLA.
The fellows will be formally elevated at the ASLA annual conference in Washington, D.C., in October.
