BIOGRAPHY

Derek Leavitt is a leader with 25+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering residential projects at scale in Los Angeles. He has built and led housing platforms across design, construction, and development, including co-founding Modative (55 projects) and helping scale United Dwelling into one of Los Angeles’ leading ADU providers. He is currently Director of Housing at EYRC, where his work focuses on affordable and mixed-income housing. His expertise spans entitlements, modular construction, and housing policy.
