Ole Seidler
Cologne, Germany
Sustainability and Energy Consultant, Longevity Partners
Ole spent the last two years at real estate sustainability consultancy Longevity Partners in their Munich office as a Sustainability & Energy Consultant, specializing in pre-acquisition due diligence and sustainability action plans navigating evolving regulatory frameworks and assessing climate risk through environmental KPIs, quantifying GAVs at risk.
He holds an M.S. in International Business with a double-specialization in Strategy & Innovation and Information Management & Business Intelligence from Maastricht University, Netherlands. Prior to receiving his degree, Ole interned at strategy consultancy Kearney and worked at TÜV Rheinland, an international technical testing company, in their Future Mobility project team focusing on EV-charging infrastructure development during his studies.
Ole transitioned from the energy and electric mobility sector towards the building industry, where he recognized not only substantial untapped potential for carbon footprint reduction but also large leverage-effects to improve people’s quality of life.
Joining the MRED+D program at Berkeley, Ole aims to sharpen his financial modeling knowledge base and hone new skills exploring innovative approaches to building technology and materials that can help future-proof real estate developments by increasing value stability and well-being of its users. Hence, the MRED+D curriculum’s focus on financial acumen and its possibility to engage in interdisciplinary exchange greatly aligns with his goal to challenge common assumptions inherent in conventional DCF-modeling.
Outside of work, Ole enjoys everything outdoors—especially backcountry skiing and surfing.
