Nick Hanoian
San Diego, CA, USA
Co-Founder, Composite Projects, LP
Nick joins Berkeley’s Master of Real Estate Development + Design program after nearly 10 years of experience across social impact, technology, and real estate organizations. Nick started his real estate career at Creative Space, a Los Angeles-based integrated development company, where he led operations and finance for projects ranging from coffee shops and music studios to multinational art galleries and hotels. After his time at Creative Space, Nick worked as a strategic finance consultant for Hala Systems, a Lisbon-based social impact organization building technology to protect civilian lives in conflict zones. Most recently, Nick co-founded Composite Projects, LP, a data-focused real estate consulting firm offering project management and development services for multifamily and retail developers. Nick hopes to use his time at Berkeley to build a strong foundation to develop rich, inclusive projects that contribute to their communities.
Nick also completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, where he received a degree in interdisciplinary American Studies, with honors, focusing on the intersection of culture, film, and the built environment. He enjoys taking his son Nico to the zoo and long morning walks with his wife Bellamy and 2 German Shepherds. He also enjoys surfing, skiing, ceramics, and playing the ukulele.
