Howard A. Friedman Visiting Professors of Practice Li Hu, Hon. FAIA and Huang Wenjing, AIA, are founding partners of OPEN Architecture. Based in Beijing, OPEN Architecture is an acclaimed architecture office that collaborates across different disciplines to practice architectural, urban, landscape, and interior design. Its recent built works include the Sun Tower, UCCA Dune Art Museum, the Chapel of Sound, Tank Shanghai, and Shanfeng Academy. OPEN’s projects have been widely published and exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Chicago Architecture Biennale, São Paulo Architecture Biennal, and the London Design Museum, among other venues, and collected by The Museum of Modern Art in New York and M+ Museum in Hong Kong.
