A structural engineer, reared in the art of realizing design, in the built environment, through collaboration and technical excellence. Hassan’s expertise as an engineer and a partner in architectural development has been greatly informed by the diversity of his projects and their social and geographical context. His wide spectrum of projects include work in Transport, Real Estate, Energy, Healthcare, Education, Sports and Recreation sector; with geographical diversity that includes delivering projects in Hong Kong, UK, UAE, Canada, Mexico, and US. Hassan’s current portfolio of public and private real estate projects includes a 7 million square feet mixed-use development at Related Santa Clara, a Technology campus, commercial and life science projects, and mixed-used developments including tall towers in Hawaii, Utah, and Jeddah. Hassan is part of Thornton Tomasetti’s leadership group.

A graduate of Columbia University and Princeton University, Mr. Gottlieb is a leader in Thornton Tomasetti’s Structural Engineering practice. Eli Gottlieb has worked on technically challenging and creative projects around the world. His experience includes the structural analysis and design of a broad spectrum of building, including museums and cultural institutions, commercial and residential high-rises, hotels, healthcare facilities, academic buildings and sports venues. Eli brings creative thinking and new approaches to many of his projects. He lead the engineering the 10-acre platform over an active rail yard on which much of Manhattan’s massive Hudson Yards is built as well as The Shed, which created a new paradigm for flexible cultural and performance space. He is currently working on the renovation of Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center as well as multiple mass timber cultural / higher education facilities.
