This past August a team from the College of Environmental Design submitted their studio project to ImproveSF's Food Justice Challenge. The team, Dylan Crary (B.A. Urban Studies '12), Heather Do (B.A. Urban Studies '12), Rebecca Hui, Sandra Lee, and Christina Tanouye (B.A Arch '13), proposed to create a program called Apples & Wages which would address food insecurity by providing affordable fresh produce as well as a transitional job training program. Congratulations to the team for being awarded the HUB Prize! To find out more about their proposal and views on the issue of food justice click here.
