Professor Emeritus of City and Regional Planning Michael B. Teitz was recently interviewed by the Oral History Project at the Bancroft LIbrary. In the interview, Professor Teitz reflects on his life growing up in World War II-era England, his thirty-five year career in the City and Regonal Planning Department, as well as his time at the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC), which he helped to established and where he is currently Senior Fellow and Director of Economy. In addition, Professor Teitz has also served as a consultant to local, state, and national governments both in the United States and at the international level.
The Oral History Center is an initiative under the Bancroft Library, which documents the history of California, the nation, and the interconnected global arena.
