Pamela Mabelle Seifert (M.Arch ‘75) passed away on January 24, 2018 at the age of 67. Seifert received a BA in Fine Arts from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana in 1972 and a MA in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley in 1975.
Seifart married Stephen Harvey in 1972, with whom she shared a robust professional career. Harvey built many of Seifert's architectural designs, including homes for family members and private individuals.
In addition to architecture, Seifert was an avid tennis player, artist, cook, equestrian, craftsperson, gardener, and photographer.
After suffering from a stroke at the age of 53, Seifert worked diligently towards rehabilitation. Eventually, Seifert and Harvey were able to design and build their dream ranch home on 35 acres in Briones, where Seifert cared for horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and fish. She also continued to travel, visiting the Grand Canyon and Peru most recently.
