College of Environmental Design alumni Rossana Hu (B.A. Arch. '90) and Lyndon Neri (B.A. Arch. '87), founding partners of the Shanghai-based architecture and design firm Neri & Hu, were named this year’s Interior Designers of the Year by Iconic Awards.
Founded by the German Design Council, one of the world’s leading centers for design, the Iconic Awards are the first neutral international architecture and design competition that focuses on how the disciplines interact within the whole world of architecture.
Acknowledging visionary architecture, innovative products and sustainable communication from all fields of architecture, the construction and property sectors, and the manufacturing industry in five main categories, the competition shines the spotlight on the elementary significance of the interaction of individual disciplines. It centres on the integrated and consistent presentation of products in architecture.
The award ceremony honoring Neri&Hu will be held on October 4, 2017 in Munich.
