College of Environmental Design Professor of Architecture Gail Brager and Department of City & Regional Planning lecturer Miriam Chion were the recipients of the 2018 Education Award by the AIA San Francisco (AIASF) Community Alliance. The Education Award recognizes an organization or individual for excellence in the advancement of architectural education through teaching, design, scholarship, research, or service in the Bay Area.
This year’s awards jury consisted of Robin Abad Ocubillo, Senior Planner and Urban Designer at the SF Planning Department; Henry Siegel, FAIA, co-founder and Principal of Siegel & Strain Architects; and Sandra Vivanco, founding principal of A+D, Architecture + Design.
Brager and Chion will be honored in early December at the Community Alliance Award Luncheon in San Francisco.
