The College of Environmental Design Students of Color (CEDSOC) at UC Berkeley is excited to announce our Peer Review Program 2021.
CEDSOC strives to support and recruit students of color, first generation, low-income, and LGBTQ identities into historically underrepresented fields such as architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning. As part of this goal, we want to help prospective students by providing peer reviews to help applicants better communicate their skills and experience in their applications.
Interested applicants will be paired with a current Master’s student, who can provide feedback on their writing and answer general questions about the program. Please note that this peer review does not guarantee admission into the program and all information will be kept confidential. All reviewers are current students who are volunteering their time. They do not represent nor have they been trained by the Graduate Admissions Committee.
To participate in the peer review, please complete the interest form by November 1st, but the sooner the better! Applicants will be paired with a current student by November 9th. Depending on the number of interested applicants and student volunteers available, we cannot guarantee that all essays will be reviewed.
