Nathan John (M.Arch. '13) and Sarah Hirschman, Lecturer in Architecture, have joined envelope A+D as Partner and Associate Partner, respectively.
With a background in the hacker/maker movement, as well as policy research, community organizing, and custom fabrication, John's expertise contributes to the firm's mission to develop flexible systems for architecture and innovative strategies for community engagement. Hirschman, an architect and a researcher, brings a broad array of expertise, ranging from the resolution of complex technical designs and lecturing on the role of patterning and illusion in architecture. the subject of her research as LeFevre Emerging Practitioner Fellow at The Ohio State University.
Associate Partner Lex Phelan joins John and Hirschman as the newest expansion to the design firm's leadership.
