We are excited to announce that the application deadline for CED's 2017 Summer Programs has been extended.
The Summer Programs Office is extending the submission deadline to the DISC* (Design & Innovation for Sustainable Cities) and the Summer [IN]STITUTE in Environmental Design programs to Monday, May 15, 2017 for domestic applications. International applications have been extended to Monday, May 8, 2017. Prospective students can submit their applications to cedberkeley.slideroom.com.
The Summer [IN]STITUTE is an introductory, immersive six-week summer program designed for students who are interested in pursuing study in architecture, landscape architecture or city planning but want additional coursework in those disciplines before applying to graduate school.
DISC* (Design & Innovation for Sustainable Cities) is a five-week intensive open to currently enrolled college students that takes an interdisciplinary and multi-scalar approach to design and analysis in the urban environment. DISC* participants engage with the discourses of urban innovation, landscape architecture, environmental planning, architecture, city planning and digital fabrication to address the increasingly urban challenges of global urbanization.
