The second annual Prizes and Awards Luncheon convened at the Bancroft Hotel, where donors and student award recipients joined together to celebrate the achievements of the students and the generosity of the CED community. Student speakers at the luncheon featured Anna Konotchick (M.Arch./M.C.P.) and Joanna Chen (Urban Studies).
The Prizes and Awards Program at the College of Environmental Design give students the opportunity to be recognized for their outstanding work, and give them an opportunity to hone their professional skills and become outstanding design and planning professionals and/or scholars and teachers. Many of the awards help students with their tuition, while others awards enhance their learning experience in vital ways by supporting travel or research.
