The Berkeley City Club Conservancy is presenting an exciting lecture series featuring Bay Area design leaders whose work promotes sustainability, historic revitalization and urban planning.
As a founding principal at Fernau+Hartman, Laura has extensive experience with academic institutions, including student unions at the University of California at Santa Cruz and Evergreen Valley College. She also designed the Napa Valley Museum, and the Nickelodeon Headquarters in New York. Hartman has worked closely in long-term relationships with diverse client groups--Co-Housing for the Cheesecake Consortium, San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park, and CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point in San Mateo-- skillfully accommodating and mediating multiple voices. She has worked on many sustainable projects including the library at the University of California at Merced and numerous residences in the Bay Area and throughout North America.
