University Health Services coordinates a montly event where you can hug therapy dogs on campus. We don't need science to tell us that hugging pets positively impacts our mood, reduces stress and allows for some great connections for students, staff and faculty.
This month, the Hug a Pet Event is happening at Moffitt Library on Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday December 7 from Noon to 1:00pm. So stop by and get a break during RRR week.
University Health Services In partnership with the Animal Rescue Foundation, coordinates a Pet Hugs event once a month. Popular with many students and campus and community members, we have overheard comments like:
- "My day just got better."
- "I've been so stressed out. I feel a lot better now."
- "I miss my dog so much. I love being able to pet this puppy."
