
What is the relationship between objects and emotions? This conference sets in dialogue a number of recent investigations in literature, art history, architecture, and area studies about the ways we try to set or lift the boundaries between objects and emotional states. Panelists include: Charles Altieri, Greg Castillo, Catherine Flynn, Anne-Lise Francois, Steven Goldsmith, Dorothy Hale, Walt Hunter, Colleen Lye, Sophie Volpp, Julia Bryan-Wilson and Winnie Wong.
