Berkeley’s first virtual open house, Cal Week, invites newly-admitted undergraduate students and their families to explore campus, discover resources, and meet members of the community in interactive ways online. Cal Week provides students an opportunity to ask questions, dive into the Berkeley adventure, and share their excitement with the community from anywhere!

Congratulations on your admission to the University of California, Berkeley and to the College of Environmental Design CED!
Should you choose to make the College of Environmental Design (CED) your home for the next four years, you will soon experience the distinctiveness of our approaches to architecture, landscape architecture, urban studies and sustainable environmental design.
The College encourages experimentation, critical thinking, and advocacy in search of better paradigms for the future of our built and natural environments.
At CED you will find yourself surrounded by fellow undergraduates, distinguished faculty, graduate students in our professional programs, and doctoral students exploring how to craft places, cities, and regions that are aesthetically compelling as well as ecologically sustainable and resilient, diverse and fair, healthy and prosperous.
We have several events scheduled specifically prospective and admitted CED students during Cal Week that can help as you make your decision.
