Phoebe White is a designer and researcher currently practicing at CMG landscape architecture. Her research considers the cultural and ecological complexities of urban water systems and the evolving narratives of these systems as they adapt to extreme weather events. Her design process emphasizes the agency of projective mapping with particular focus on its role in mediating between the latent histories of site and emergent climate risk.
Prior to lecturing at Berkeley, Phoebe was a studio critic at the Boston Architectural college, a landscape designer at Stephen Stimson Associates, and a Research Associate in the Archizoom Lab at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
