- Biography
Lingxiu Chong (AADip) is a Singaporean-Chinese architect based in San Francisco. Her work across design, conservation and education aims to activate and transform historic artefacts and spaces around the world. She studied at the Architectural Association in London, and proceeded to practice in architectural design with a focus on adaptive re-use and conservation, with the Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in Asia and with Page & Turnbull in San Francisco on projects across California. She has taught architectural design and history with institutions including the Architectural Association, California College of the Arts and Singapore University of Technology and Design. She is presently director of the AA Visiting School San Francisco Bay Area (AAVS SF) organised between London and San Francisco.
