- Biography
Eric Reeder is a licensed California architect whose 15-year career has merged project collaboration, sustainability, and urban speculation. For nearly a decade Eric practiced and taught in Seoul, South Korea. In 2018, Eric founded ERa (Eric Reeder Architect) in San Francisco. His work balances professional practice and education, having taught design studios as assistant professor in South Korea and The United States. His academic research and professional projects focus on housing, sustainable urbanism and adaptive reuse strategies.
Eric studied urban design in Prague, Czech Republic through the University of Colorado prior to receiving a Bachelor of Environmental Design. He earned his M.Arch from UC Berkeley. In 2015 he published Adaptations Seoul, and has received awards and published recognition in North America and East Asia.
