On October 31 and November 1, UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff gathered in CED's Wurster Gallery to celebrate their ancestors in honor of Día de los Muertos. Students decorated altars, or ofrendas, which are said to guide spirits to their altars.

Nick Sowers (M.Arch ‘10) participated in the 2019 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism with his project City of Sound | City of Dust. Sowers’s project was on the five stereo channels of field recordings he made at Burning Man in 2010.
