In addition to the regular architectural internship, she also interned with PwC and engaged in audit-related work to gain more hands-on financial experience.
Xintong is deeply committed to social equality and is especially attuned to the needs of disadvantaged communities. During her college life, Xintong established the International Concerned Architects (ICA) club with a number of like-minded friends. In these last 3 years, ICA has completed several charity projects, from international development-related projects such as the library in Sri Lanka to rural renovation projects in China, remaining closely in touch with multiple universities, social enterprises and charity organizations alike.
Thrilled to be joining MRED+D, Xintong looks forward to understanding the more fundamental aspects of finance that affect development and community spaces. She is interested in deepening her understanding of real estate development, particularly sustainable community development, redevelopment and affordable housing.
As for personal interests, Xintong enjoys watching movies and swimming. Being with friends is always the best thing for her.
