Role Before Joining MRED+D: Planner, Korea Asset Management Corporation
When Taekyeong first began her career in real estate back in 2014, she had little to no knowledge about the field of real estate. Simply, the idea of real estate being a “tangible asset” and thus “able to be utilized” intrigued her. During the past 7 years of her career, she has had experience managing buildings, conducting architectural administration, and planning development projects. Being in charge of various roles, Taekyeong learned that planning is the most important process and it became her motivation to pursue her degree in real estate development. She has experienced many development projects trying to overcome their unfavorable locational weaknesses, and few were executed successfully regardless of their locations. Through the MRED+D program, Taekyeong would like to learn ways to surmount various obstacles such as location.
Taekyeong is an avid violinist, having started playing at the age of 3. She used to participate in ensembles to raise funds for charity. She is also recently learning to play golf. Another hobby of hers is horseback riding; due to an unfortunate accident a couple years ago, which left her with a concussion, she has stopped riding since. Despite it all, Taekyeong’s goal is to overcome her trauma, and continue doing what she loves again.
